For the first time it-economics Bulgaria sponsors events from the Bulgarian Java User Group. JPrime is a conference with talks on Java, various languages on the JVM, mobile, web and best practices. This year’s event is happening on 29th and 30th May 2018 in Sofia Tech Park.
On May 14, 2018, the it-economics team in Muenster celebrated the new office opening with about 20 guests on the Germania Campus. Last fall, the site in Muenster was founded to provide even better support to customers in the region and to attract new customers and employees. Following the 15th anniversary of it-economics, we move to a new, larger office in Munich near the Leuchtenbergring, in the second quarter of 2018. This way, we take account of the continuing growth of employees and we create new spaces for creative, common work. An exciting project is progressing.
As part of the "Consultants for Charity", it-economics employees spent valuable time to charitable projects. Together with the Allianz for Children Foundation, an amount of EUR 10,000 was donated to the Center for Child Multilingualism e.V. (KIKUS) in 2017. The donation was handed over on location in Munich.
The main purpose of KIKUS is to make language and education accessible to all children and thus to provide equal opportunities.
Last Thursday, our Dusseldorf office held a special training – a training that touched base with the universal pattern of women’s inferior access to resources and opportunities. We at it-economics want to change that pattern and think that we are on the right track. Our women’s quota has steadily increased since 2014.

HackConf is one of the largest tech and motivational conferences in Bulgaria.
