The IT consultancy it-economics expands its reach, and now opens a new office in Zurich. The reasoning for founding it-economics Schweiz AG is to advise companies from the financial and insurance industry and to offer help in the development of digitalization solutions. "Since the founding of it-economics, a major focus of our consulting activities is in the finance and insurance sector. The opening of a Swiss office is a logical and important step in strengthening our presence where many international companies of these industries are based", explains Torsten Klein, CEO of it-economics.

Since it was founded in 2003, the IT consultancy it-economics has grown steadily. In 2014, the first international branch was opened as a Nearshore Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. Now, the company stretches its country reach by adding Switzerland as a second international location.

The management is handled by Martin Rosenkranz and Matthias Maag. They both are from Switzerland, and have more than 20 years of consulting and classic IT project management experience. Together they will account for the development of the site and the support of the projects on site. The first project to commence is for an insurance company and aims to support the implementation of a new integrated sales desktops, as well as the introduction of a cloud-based CRM system.
