As a long-standing Solution Partner, it-economics supports small and medium-sized companies as well as enterprise customers in implementing efficient IT solutions based on Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Co. it-economics has successfully proven its professional and technical expertise in a great number of projects and has now been awarded Platinum status, the official honor of the Australian software provider Atlassian. The Platinum partnership with Atlassian requires a significant number of projects with customers of all sizes and a wide-range team of certified Atlassian experts.

Five years of partnership - five years of experience

it-economics has been an Atlassian partner since 2013. The partnership began with the development of the Jira add-on "imatch" for a major customer in the areas of portfolio management, staffing and skills management. Since then, the Atlassian service portfolio has been continuously expanded. In addition to consulting on the introduction, optimization and integration of the Atlassian product suite, it now also includes health checks, license management, a managed hosting platform for Atlassian products based on AWS (Amazon Web Services), as well as support, training and workshops on agile teamwork and innovative work environments. it-economics currently supports more than 20 companies in the banking, insurance, energy and automotive industries using Atlassian products.

"The Platinum Partner status emphasizes the strategic importance of this topic within it-economics and supports our entitlement to be one of the leading full-service providers for Atlassian Consulting in the DACH region. However, this success would have not been possible without the outstanding commitment of our employees, the close cooperation with our partner Atlassian and last but not least the trust of our customers. A great example of what can be achieved with teamwork - many thanks to all those who have contributed and will continue to contribute", says David Brotzer, Head of Business Line Atlassian at it-economics.

Expansion of strategic partnership in the future

Since July 2018 it-economics is part of the Sopra Steria Group. As a wholly-owned subsidiary, it-economics remains independent and continues to be responsible for the Atlassian division within the Group. "With Sopra Steria, we now have a strong partner to support us who will help us to further and strategically expand the Atlassian Consulting division. Our focus is always on the individual requirements to which we respond flexibly and innovatively in order to accompany our customers effectively on their way to digital transformation", explains Torsten Klein, CEO of it-economics and member of the management board of Sopra Steria SE.
